Mount Hyjal: overview
Mount Hyjal is a new questing region set after Archimonde’s defeat. The land is recovering, but a new threat is draining its power. Darkwhisper Gorge forms part of the playable region.
The zone connects directly to Hyjal Summit, Forever’s 20-player level-60 raid. Questing through Hyjal and entering the raid are separate activities; the raid unlocks on December 9, 2026.
Plan a visit around the zone’s quests and travel routes, then prepare separately for the raid. Forever keeps the level cap at 60 and does not scale every creature to the player, so entering a new region does not guarantee that every quest there is suitable for your level.
