Account-wide perks: overview

Legacy Points and collections are shared across compatible rulesets, but Legacy perk choices belong to the individual character. A gatherer and a dungeon-focused character can spend the same account’s points differently.

Each character can spend 16 Legacy Points at launch. Choose perks for the tasks that character performs most often: gathering, leveling, travelling, profession work or reducing consumable and reagent costs. Cosmetic Legacy rewards do not raise the spending limit.

Hardcore has a one-way progression boundary. Progress earned inside Hardcore can become available outside it, but achievements and collections earned elsewhere do not enter the Hardcore ecosystem. A dead Hardcore character can transfer out to another ruleset.
