Legacy progression: overview

Legacy progression begins when you earn your first Legacy Point, usually at character level 25. Reaching skill 150 in a non-gathering primary profession or completing world exploration can also unlock it.

Challenges award account-wide points, but each character chooses its own perks in Professions, Adventure and Resourcefulness. The launch limit is 16 spent points per character; earning more continues the cosmetic reward track. You can reach the spending limit on one character without leveling an army of alts.

Choose perks for the character’s current job. Well Rested helps a leveling character accumulate rested experience. Bountiful Harvest helps a gatherer collect resources. Reagent Economy removes supported reagent costs. A class trainer in a major city handles changes to Legacy talents as well as class talents.
