Neepzen won their first meeting 2–1 in the upper final. Warlockguy then beat Cdewx 2–0 in the lower final to earn a rematch. After losing the opening duel of the championship match, he won the next three to take the title 3–1.
Cdewx recovered from a loss to Azzu with four consecutive lower-bracket wins before meeting Warlockguy. Oddwaffletv won five elimination matches in a row, including a rematch against Azzu, before Cdewx ended his run in the lower semifinal.
The final four were two Warlocks and two Shamans. Minpojke and Azzu shared fifth–sixth, the highest finishes for a Druid and a Paladin. These were level-30 beta duels, rather than a ranking of level-60 raid or PvP performance.

Tournament format and rules
Qualifiers
Swiss qualifiers selected 36 finalists: four from each of the nine classes.
Finals
The finals used double elimination, starting with an eight-player play-in. Upper-bracket matches and the lower final were best of three. The other lower rounds were single duels, and the grand final was best of five.
Character and talent rules
Competitors used fresh Horde characters on the beta PvP ruleset, reaching level 30 before check-in. Each player locked in one character and submitted a talent build during check-in.
Registration closed on October 2, with a 15-gold in-game entry fee.
Prize pool and class awards
The announced prize pool was $100,000 USD. Warlockguy won the $50,000 championship prize. The $5,555 Warlock class award passed to runner-up Neepzen. Each other class award went to its highest-placed player, with the Mage award shared by four tied players.
