Priests can heal through Discipline or Holy, or deal damage through Shadow Magic. Shields, direct heals and damage-over-time spells demand different timing, but every build benefits from careful mana use and positioning.
Discipline combines shields, Penance and direct healing. It can prepare an ally for incoming damage rather than reacting only after health drops, but shields still need to be timed around Weakened Soul.
Holy offers direct tank healing and party recovery. Binding Heal heals both caster and target, Prayer of Mending responds to incoming damage, and Litany of Light rewards a varied casting sequence.
Shadow Magic is the Priest damage tree. Damage-over-time spells, Mind Blast and Mind Flay form the core, while Devouring Contagion and Early Demise strengthen spread damage and finishing pressure.
Soul Warding supports repeated shielding; Renewed Hope interacts with healing targets affected by Weakened Soul. The goal is coordinated shield-and-heal timing, not blindly shielding every player on every global.

Flash HealA wand-based solo routine preserves Mana: shield if needed, apply a useful damage spell, then wand a nearly dead enemy instead of spending another full cast.
Litany of Light makes alternating spells a practical Mana-management decision. Choose different eligible heals that match the damage, rather than alternating merely to satisfy a pattern while players die.

Greater HealUse a strong wand to finish quest enemies after the necessary opening damage. This reduces drinking and gives your regeneration a chance to recover between fights.
Shadowform in the supplied Forever data substantially changes Shadow Mana costs, but it is a later-tree tool. Early questing still needs a wand and deliberate recovery intervals.

Devouring PlagueOpen with useful spell damage, maintain Shadow Word: Pain on enemies that will live long enough, then wand a nearly dead target to avoid another unnecessary Mana cost.
For dungeon leveling, keep Fortitude and Inner Fire active, drink before a difficult pull, and tell the tank when your Mana will not support an additional pack.
Leveling routes and preparationFear Ward and Devouring Plague become available to every Priest at level 20. Divine Spirit is baseline at level 30; Shadow Word: Death arrives at level 32. Prayer of Healing targets a party through its selected member. These changes affect which utility requires talent investment.
Blizzard class deep dive · 30 September 2026Bring water and mana potions, with a healing potion for emergencies. Shadow can consider Lesser Wizard Oil and a spell-damage elixir; healers should choose supplies that sustain useful healing instead of offensive buffs.
