Current build changes players can verify
The September 18 known-issues list identifies several class interactions already scheduled for correction in the next build. These include Starshards not benefiting from Twilight Focus, Vengeance activating from periodic critical strikes, and weak rank-to-rank progression for Holy Strike. Warlock pet resource display and scaling text are also still being completed.
Those notes are useful when testing talents: a result may be a documented beta defect rather than the intended final behavior. The existing WoW Forever Talent Calculator can be used to plan a level-20 path before reproducing a talent interaction in game.
Skyborne and the two new dungeons
Skyborne characters begin on Zephras Isle and choose the tradition tied to their faction and class access. Week One gives players enough levels to complete the starting experience and then move into the first dungeon band.
Hall of Thanes and Ruins of Lordaeron are the two headline group activities. Both are useful places to test threat, crowd control, healer resource pressure and the revised early item rewards.
Server Slam
Blizzard has announced a Server Slam to put additional pressure on the beta infrastructure. An exact date and start time have not been published. Until a schedule appears, any date circulating without a direct Blizzard notice should be treated as unconfirmed.
