Fishing 1–300 Leveling Guide
Fishing supplies Cooking ingredients without buying a pile of crafting materials. A pole, lures and a safe stretch of water are enough to begin.

Learn Apprentice and Journeyman from Fishing trainers. Buy Expert Fishing – The Bass and You from Old Man Heming in Booty Bay for the 225 cap. At character level 35 and Fishing 225, complete Nat Pagle, Angler Extreme in Dustwallow Marsh to unlock 300.

Preparation and practical tips
- Learn Fishing, equip a Fishing Pole and apply a Shiny Bauble lure.
- Find Fishing in the Professions window and drag the fishing action onto your bar.
- Cast toward water, then right-click the bobber when it splashes.
- Nat Pagle’s Artisan quest requires Feralas Ahi, Misty Reed Mahi Mahi, Sar’theris Striker and Savage Coast Blue Sailfin. Fish in Feralas, the eastern Swamp of Sorrows coast, the western Desolace coast and the western Stranglethorn coast respectively.
- Use Bright Baubles from skill 100 for a +75 Fishing boost. If you only want skill points, keep fishing in safe city waters rather than traveling to a harder zone.
