Leatherworking 1–300 Leveling Guide
Leatherworking uses hides, leather and scales for equipment and armor kits. Skinning supplies those materials during ordinary beast-killing quests.

Leveling route: 1–300
Craft the listed recipe until you reach the end of its skill range. Quantities include extra crafts for yellow and green recipes; skill gains are random, so stop at the target and adjust the count if you need more.

Preparation and practical tips
- Learn Leatherworking and buy thread and salt from trade suppliers.
- Use Ruined Leather Scraps or Light Armor Kits for the first skill points.
- Save Cured Light Hides for Light Leather Pants instead of vendoring them.
- Keep Cured Light Hides for Light Leather Pants, Cured Medium Hides for Hillman’s Shoulders and Cured Heavy Hides for Barbaric Shoulders and Guardian Gloves.
- Buy thread, salt and dyes from a Leatherworking supplier. Skinning provides leather and hides, but you still need these vendor materials.
