Paladins combine melee attacks, seals and group support. Holy specializes in healing, Protection tanks with Holy threat and a shield, and Retribution uses a two-handed weapon and timed seal interactions.
During dungeon pulls, keep the tank alive first, then heal other party members as needed. Avoid repeatedly casting large heals on players who have only lost a small amount of health.
Flash of LightHoly LightHoly Shock
Holy is strongest when you have allies to heal. For solo questing, keep a separate damage weapon and use Holy Strike and Judgement instead of wearing only healing gear for every enemy.
Seal of Fury makes Judgement a taunt. If the wrong Seal is active, pressing the same key will not provide the tanking response you expected.

Protection works well when a pull can be gathered safely and your healer or own Mana supply can sustain it. Begin with two manageable enemies before attempting larger packs.
A slow, hard-hitting two-handed weapon suits the melee plan. Holy Strike uses weapon damage, so replacing a weak weapon can matter more than a small secondary-stat increase.
Seal of CommandSeal of the CrusaderHoly Strike
Begin with Seal of Righteousness, Holy Strike and Judgement. Use a two-handed weapon for melee damage and heal between fights rather than repeatedly casting expensive heals under attack.
Leveling a Paladin
Before Holy Shock is available, plan movement around Flash of Light and Holy Light casts. Stop briefly in a safe position, heal, then move; jumping repeatedly does not solve a falling tank health bar.
Carry drink, healing and mana recovery supplies. A healer needs enough water for the whole run; a tank should refill before the group pulls again. Use stat food or elixirs that support your chosen role rather than consuming every available buff.
