Aimed Shot becomes baseline at level 20. Traps work in combat, and pets scale with Hunter gear. Beast Mastery emphasizes companions; Marksmanship emphasizes ranged attacks; Survival adds trap and melee options. These beta changes make a Classic rotation an unsafe default.
Bring food, drink and emergency healing supplies for your level. Maintain pet recovery supplies and the ammunition or weapon requirements shown by your equipped weapon. Plan those checks before a long trip, not at the dungeon entrance.
