WOW FOREVER · PLAYER REFERENCE

Warrior guides

Warriors use Rage and stance-specific attacks. Arms develops two-handed damage, Fury sustains a faster melee cycle, and Protection uses a shield to tank. Weapon upgrades and managing Rage between attacks are central to all three.

Choose your specialization

Gameplay by specialization

Arms gameplay guide

A slow two-handed weapon supports the large weapon-based strikes. Compare actual weapon damage, not just the color of the item name.

RendOverpowerMortal Strike

Arms focuses on powerful weapon attacks and efficient Rage management. Use Overpower when its conditions are met, and prioritize Mortal Strike once you have learned it. A strong two-handed weapon is especially important for this playstyle.

Fury gameplay guide

Dual Wield Specialization increases off-hand contribution; inspect both weapons when comparing upgrades. A weak off hand is not merely an empty stat slot.

Battle ShoutBloodthirstWhirlwind

Fury focuses on sustained melee damage and frequent weapon attacks. Use Bloodthirst and Whirlwind once they become available, and manage Rage so you can continue attacking without unnecessary downtime.

Protection gameplay guide

Open with Charge where Vanguard permits, then position the pack so melee enemies face away from the party. Keep the healer within sight before moving.

Defensive StanceShield SlamRevenge

Protection focuses on surviving incoming damage and maintaining threat. Use defensive abilities and shield-based attacks when available. In group content, prioritize keeping enemies focused on you rather than maximizing personal damage.

Leveling a Warrior

As the Arms talents develop, practice Overpower reactions and use a two-handed weapon with competitive damage. Keep a one-handed weapon and shield for dungeon tanking rather than buying a separate entire armor set.

Leveling routes and preparation

Forever class changes

Forever revises Rage reliability, baseline utility and the three Warrior specializations. Talents start at level 10. Changing talents requires a city class trainer, and Dual Specialization becomes available at level 40. Beta ability and talent changes remain subject to revision.

Equipment and supplies

Carry food, bandages and healing potions. Rage potions can support a difficult pull; weapon stones and Strength or Agility elixirs are optional damage supplies. A survival item you actually use is more valuable than an expensive buff lost on the first death.

Mining · Blacksmithing · Engineering · First Aid

Compare Warrior equipment by slot. Keep role-specific items when changing between damage, healing or tanking.

Planning talents

Open the calculator to allocate points, inspect every rank and save a build link. Tier and prerequisite checks keep the allocation valid. Each specialization guide explains which talents support its attacks, control or healing tools.
